罪の告白 Confession
十歳の男の子が青い顔をして、お母さんに言いました。
「お母さん、お腹が空いたので、冷蔵庫に入っていたケーキを、全部食べてしまいました。」
「あれはお客さんのために買っておいたのだから、食べてはいけないと言ったでしょう。」
「ケーキ悪いね。お母さんは、前に『あのお客さんは大嫌いだ』と言っていたから、お母さんを助けてあげたかったんだよ。」
A ten-year-old boy looking very pale, said to his mother, “Mum, I was very hungry so I ate all of the cake that was in the fridge!” “You know that cake was for the guests coming later today and I asked you not to touch it!” Mother exclaimed. “Yeah, I know that but you said you didn`t like those people so I thought I would help you out.”
「私たちの負い目をお許しください。」マタイ6:12
人間は誰でも自分の過ち、欠点、罪を人から指摘されたくないです。
自分の過ちを認めたくないです。
しかし、人は悪い間違った行為を指摘され、改めなければ、向上しません。
メスを入れなければ、体の中にある腐った毒物を取り除くことはできません。
ですから、罪についての話は聞きたくなくても、自分が救われるには、必要なのです。
“Forgive us our sins.” Matthew 6:12. None of us like to have our faults, mistakes and sins pointed out to us. We do not like to face up to our sins. However, if we do not have our errors pointed out to us and seek to change we will not improve. Unless a scalpel is used, the poison cannot be removed, and the damaged portions of the body cannot be excised.
イエス・キリストの救いの核心は、罪からの救いです。
自分の罪を認めるには謙遜な心が必要です。
傲慢な人間は相手の過ちを責めても、自分の正しさを主張します。
Even though we do not want to hear talk of sin it is necessary if we are to be saved. Salvation from sin was at the core of the teachings of Jesus. Humility is necessary for us to admit our sins. A proud person will point out the faults of others but not admit their own errors.
救われるには、まず、第一に、自分の罪を自覚することです。
自分の罪に気づくことは救いの第一歩です。
すなわち、神様の前では、自分が罪人であることを早く気づくことです。
さらに、自分が犯している特定な罪を早く示されることです。
これが、救いの第一歩です。自分が、どのような状態にいるか早く知ることです。
何か、恐ろしい病気にかかっていても、それに気が付かずに、徐々に死に近づいているとしたら悲劇です。
自分が病気であると気が付けば、治療を求めます。医者の助けを求めます。
In order to be saved it is necessary for us to be conscious of our own sin. Recognizing your sin is the first step towards salvation. In other words, realizing that from God`s point of view we are sinners and seeing the specific sins which we have committed is important. This is the beginning of salvation; to know one`s actual condition.
It would be very sad if we have contracted some terrible disease and are getting progressively worse but do not realise it. We seek treatment and go to the doctor if we know we are sick.
自分がある特定の罪を犯したことや、神のみ前では罪人だと、示されたら、すぐに罪を告白することです。
なぜなら、そのまま、放って置くと、罪の重荷で苦しむばかりか、恐ろしい結果を招くからです。
罪は人間を不幸にさせます。神の許しを求め、悔い改めなければ裁きを受けます。
When we realise that we are sinners before God and know the specific sins that displease Him we should confess them. If we just leave things as they are we will not only feel bad but there could be fearful consequences. Sin ruins peoples` lives. We will face judgement if we do not admit and repent of our sins.
ダビデ王は自分の部下ウリヤが王のために戦いに出ている間に、彼の妻バテシェバと姦淫を行い、子をはらませてしまいました。
それを隠すために夫のウリヤを戦場で討ち死にさせました。
彼は、姦淫の罪と殺人の罪を犯しました。
そのために、彼は、良心の咎めを受け、心に平安がありませんでした。
喜びもありませんでした。
ダビデは罪の重荷に耐えかねて、預言者ナタンが彼の罪を告発したときに、心から悔い改めました。
そして、罪を告白しました。「どうか私の咎を、私から全く洗い去り、私の罪から、私をきよめてください。‥‥私はあなたに、ただあなたに、罪を犯し、あなたの御目に悪であることを行いました。」詩篇51:2,⒋
King David committed adultery with Bathsheba while her husband was away fighting in David`s army.
As a result, she became pregnant and in order to hide his sin, David arranged the death of Uriah, Bathsheba`s husband. He committed the sins of infidelity and murder. As a result of his actions, David felt guilty and had no joy or peace. He could not stand the burden of guilt and when the prophet Nathan pointed out his sin he repented wholeheartedly and confessed his sin. “Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. . . Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what was evil in your sight.” Psalm 51:2, 4.
罪を告白しなければ、この地上で罪の重荷を負って、空しい人生を歩むばかりか、死後、裁かれ、永遠の刑罰を受けます。
勿論、天国は聖なるところですから、汚れた罪を持ったままでは天国に入れません。 自分の心にある罪を自覚して、悔いて、罪を告白すれば、罪が許されます。
罪が許された時の喜びは、多額の負債が許されたときのように大きいです。
「もし、私たちが罪を言い表すなら、神は真実で正しい方ですから、その罪を許し、すべての悪から私たちをきよめてくださいます。」ヨハネ第一 1:9
If we do not confess our sins we will bear the weight of guilt in this life and then face eternal judgement in the next life. Heaven is a holy, pure place so, of course, we cannot enter it with our load of sin. Our sins will all be forgiven if we recognize our wrongdoing, confess it and repent of it. “If we confess our sins He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9.
どんな恐ろしい罪でも、心から悔い改めれば、赦されます。 しかし、罪を犯せば、たとえ赦されても、その傷と苦しみは死ぬまで続きます。
Regardless the kind and the size of sin committed, if we truly repent with all our heart we will be forgiven. However, even if we do repent often the scars and hurts resulting from sin will still remain.
