権力と腐敗 Power and Corruption
最近、日産のカルロス・ゴーン会長が金融商品取引法違反の疑いで逮捕され、世界に衝撃を与えました。
彼は日産自動車を再建した救世主として称えられていました。
一人の人に権力が集中したのが問題だったと日産の幹部は告白しています。
仏経済紙レゼコー（電子版）は２１日、今回の逮捕について「フランスでは『日本人が仕掛けたクーデターだ』という見方が強い」と指摘。
この理由はフランス政府がルノーの株を持っていてルノーは日産の48%の株を保有していることが問題とされています。
日産とルノーを統合させたのがゴーン氏で、日産はフランス政府の影響を受けたくないと願っています。
それはともかく、ゴーン氏は年間19億の収入があり、日産からは10億ありながら、5億しか受け取っていないと報告され、脱税の疑いがあるとされています。
一般人の間では一生汗水を流して働いても、1億円をためることができる人は少ないです。
有り余る、使いきれない富を持ちながら、なぜもっと多くの金を求めるのか人間の欲の深さを感じます。
また権力を与えられ過ぎると、自分が神のように何でもできると思い上がるところに腐敗の源があるのでしょうか。
不信実と偽りとを私から遠ざけてください。

また、私が貧しくて、盗みをし、私の神の御名を汚すことのないために。箴言 30:8, 9 Recently the arrest of Carlos Ghosn, the chairman of Nissan, for alleged under-reporting of his income and misuse of company funds has sent shock waves around the world. He is lauded as the one responsible for the re-building of Nissan.
The problem was that power was concentrated in the hands of one man admitted one of Nissan`s leaders. A financial newspaper in France said that many people there think the arrest has been a coup d`etat by Japan. The reason behind this is that the French government holds a percentage of the shares in the Renault company and Renault in turn holds 48% of the shares in Nissan. Ghosn was the one responsible for bringing about the amalgamation of Nissan and Renault. Nissan does not want to be influenced by the French government.
Ghosn`s annual salary is 1.9 billion yen. He received 1 billion yen from Nissan but reported only half of that to the tax office. For most of us, even if we slave away every day all of our lives, we will never save a fraction of that amount of money. Even though he has more than he will ever need or ever be able to use why did he need more? This shows the depth of man`s greed. When a man is given too much power he begins to think of himself as a god, becomes proud and this leads to corruption.
“Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, “Who is the Lord?” or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.” Proverbs 30:8, 9.
