Water 水

Isn`t water an amazing blessing! We use it every day for drinking, washing dishes, clothes and cars, watering the garden, swimming in and bathing in. We take it for granted that when we turn the tap clean water will be produced.

Every night, especially in winter, the bath relaxes, heats and cleanses our bodies. Despite the number of people living in Japan, it is very rare to have water restrictions. People leave the water running as the wash their dishes and use a huge amount of water every night in the bath and yet there is still enough for tomorrow!

When it rains we often say that we wish the weather would clear up but it is that very rain which provides us with that wonderful asset. How easy it is to take for granted all the blessings God has bestowed upon us.

What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not? I Corinthians 4:7

水は何と驚くべき恵みではないでしょうか。

私たちは、毎日、水を飲料水として、食器や衣類や車を洗ったり、花や植木にかけたり、プールで泳いだり、風呂に入ったりすることに使います。

水道の蛇口をひねると水が出て来る恵みを当たり前のこととして受け取り、感謝することを忘れてしまいます。

毎夜風呂に入り、特に冬には体を温め、リラックスさせ、体をきれいに洗います。

日本では、これだけ人口が多いのに、水の使用の制限がほとんどありません。

日本で、食器を洗う時に水を垂れ流しで洗う贅沢は外国では考えられません。

毎晩あのように国民が風呂に入っても、水不足にはなりません。

雨が降る時に、よく早く晴れればいいなと願いますが、まさに、その雨が快適な生活をもたらしているのです。

神が私たちに与えてくださる恵みを当たり前のこととして、感謝をしないことは誰にでも陥入りやすい欠点です。

あなたには、何か、もらったものでないものがあるのですか。もしもらったのなら、なぜ、もらっていないかのように誇るのですか。コリントI.4:6
